MoniKa will be showing Friday, July 20 at 3:00 pm – LVH Theater at the Las Vegas Film Festival. This film was Written/Directed by Steven R. Monroe. MoniKa is Jackson’s and Monroe’s ninth collaboration and features a unique score by Jackson with a style he has dubbed “techno-noir”. MoniKa is a violent, edgy, action revenge thriller. This engaging, sexy, suspenseful ride focuses on the forlorn Reagan Tyler, a man who is troubled by visions and premonitions that ultimately lead him to Las Vegas. It’s there that Reagan meets the beautiful and mysterious Monika, a young woman who turns out to have been killed the night before he even met her, by a couple of low-end Vegas drug dealers. Reagan is then forced to put the puzzle together, and help Monika seek revenge on the ruthless killers.
