A Hitchcock Mystery... Plymptoons Style!
Corey has been scoring the new animated short "Shut Eye Hotel" for animator Bill Plympton. "Shut Eye" is a Hitchcockian mystery created for the Annecy Film Festival.
Here is a quote from Bill Plympton at www.plymptoons.com...
"It's a far-different piece from what I've done in the past. It's not a comedy (in fact, there's only one joke in the whole film). The short is a murder mystery - someone or something is killing guests in the titular hotel - and I'm not going to give it away. You must watch to find out the identity of the murderer. The music is by Corey Jackson, and it's as if Bernard Hermann has come back to life."
Composer Corey Allen Jackson collaborates with Actor/Writer/Director Michael Worth for Grizzly Peak Production's new film, "God's Ears".
Noah Connelly is a boxer with a tireless opponent: autism. When he meets a dancer named Alexia, he finds himself climbing out of his "silent ring" to take on the fight of the real world as the two lovers challenge the giant hurtle between them.
